The paint is peeling on our light yellow home and our summer goal (also last summer's goal) is to finally put a fresh coat of paint on that bad boy. I have been collecting exterior home images in varying shades of grey and these are some of my favorites:
I love the look of a crisp white home with only the shutters and door painted, but this can also look unfinished on certain homes. I think it just depends on the style of the home. I ruled the all-white look out. Matt did, too. I then thought a very light warm grey would be nice and we tested a few out on the house. I thought for sure one of these would work, but they all looked too yellow or mauve or green...not what I am going for. I decided that it might be best to do a medium true grey (on the warmer side) - darker than I had planned, but I think it will look fresh and fun. Plus, walking around our neighborhood I have noticed a trend in the light grey / beige color and I don't really like to follow the crowd.
Do you have a tried and true grey paint that you love? Please share!
