Our home has a very small foyer and currently consists of a tiny table with some keys thrown on top. Plus 7 pairs of shoes. Although the space is small, it shouldn't be boring. Right now, our foyer is boring. I like clean and simple, but also eclectic and full of personality. Most likely, our foyer will be "full of personality" (translation: cluttered with shoes, keys, mail...). Sometimes it's best to come to the realization that I will most likely never have a foyer that looks like the all white one above - free of clutter. Ours will probably resemble something like the photo with the skateboard. I think the real design challenge is making a space that is inevitably going to be lived in, still look great! How about you? Do you have a hard time maintaining all of your "stuff?"

ReplyDeleteThis makes me want a house so bad!! I love the white one with black accents. But yes, I'm sure it's challenging to always keep it free of clutter. In my dream house, I'd have a mud room with cubbies for the kids. Ha. If only... :)
