'Tis the season of weddings! Here is my guideline when dressing for a wedding:
+ wear a lightweight fabric in case of warm weather.
+ wear a dress that is somewhat modest - a strapless mini dress should be reserved for the club.
-- do not wear white or anything too flashy (this is not the time to stand out).
+ wear neutral shoes (nothing flashy) with a wedge, incase the venue has grass, gravel or uneven ground.
+ bring a small clutch to hold essentials.
+ keep jewelry to a minimum.

My overall guideline as a wedding guest is to dress appropriately to the venue and weather, keeping in mind that it is not my day to stand out. Of course, you have the right to wear something that you feel good in! Just be weary of wearing anything that may cause "negative" attention such as a super short hemline or matching the bride. It is okay to be get the party started on the dance floor! See more wedding inspiration outfits here.

I love everything about this outfit. The color of the dress, the J Crew necklace (a serious item on my own wish list!), and of course the Jimmy Choos. So glad I happened across your blog and can't wait to follow along! Hope you have a great weekend.
