After successful surf lessons with Kelley Surf School (despite the same name, I am not the owner) on Poipu Beach in Kauai, we decided to try stand up paddle boarding (SUP)...
Nelson informing us to stay close because the current and wind can carry us out to sea... I think the look on my face says it all. Note: Nelson's "warning finger."
Don't let that smile fool you...
Despite the serious faces, we were enjoying ourselves!
If you find yourself in a place that offers stand up paddle boarding, I recommend giving it a try! It is a great test of balance and is quite the work out!
It looks like so much fun but I've heard it's hard!!! I need to try it stat.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to try it when I was in Hawaii, but I have no balance at all! It looks like fun though!
ReplyDeleteAhh this looks like so much fun! I love paddle boarding - it can be relaxing :) Hope you had a wonderful time.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like so much fun! But I'm afraid of the water and have no balance, so it would probably be out for me...Glad you enjoyed yourself though :)

ReplyDeleteWow looks so pretty! I tried paddle boarding for the the first time at the lake a few months ago. I'd be nervous to try it on the ocean, but what an amazing view.
