We're back! The vacation of a lifetime (for me), has now finally come to an end. If you've kept up with my Kauai posts (1, 2 & 3) then you know that Matt had a work project on the island and I got to tag along! What was supposed to be a two week trip, turned into a total of seven due to project related delays. I can't even believe we got to be on Kauai for so long. It all feels like a hazy, warm, sunny dream...
{Tunnels Beach} Our favorite spot to snorkel and lounge on the white sand with breathtaking views of the Na Pali Coast. This beach is a must see!
{Sleeping Giant} A trail through the forest with great views!
{Tidepools at the Grand Hyatt} We celebrated our 10 year "first date" anniversary at what became my favorite restaurant. I highly recommend the mahi mahi. I wore my (now shortened) wedding dress!
Matt couldn't stand watching surfers any longer and bought a board on craigslist.
{Maha'ulepu Beaches} An unmarked stretch of beaches that can only be reached by driving down a long dirt road.
I hope you guys aren't tired of Kauai photos because I have even more favorite places that I want to share. Returning home after seven weeks is overwhelming - bills and mail piled up, a yard that is overgrown and a bridal shower to get ready for that I am hosting this weekend. Did I mention that we are still finishing up our remodel... Those seven weeks were totally worth it, though!

Kel, LOVE all the photos! So glad you guys had enough time to explore the island that I now call my favorite too! What a magical place and glad you took advantage of the trip of a lifetime : )
ReplyDeleteWow! SEVEN weeks in Hawaii? You are so lucky, and I am so jealous! Ha! I told my fiance that I want to go to Hawaii for our honeymoon! All your pictures are great! It looks like such a beautiful place. I wish there were views like that in Delaware. And even with piled up bills, I would definitely think it was worth it, too! And your shortened wedding dress is beautiful (love the back!), and is such a great idea, so you can wear it again!
