We are on the "home stretch" of finishing our house remodel and as a result, I have had little time for blogging. Lucky for me (and you), we have a guest post on my favorite place in the home - kitchens!
.............................
Hello everyone! I'm Jessica, a writer for
Arcadian Lighting. Every day I get to write about the latest interior designs trends and all the
light fixtures that go with them. Thank you for having me as your guest, Kelley! Today I'd like to share some gorgeous kitchens that are a both industrial and elegant. It's a combination perfectly suited for the kitchen because rugged, factory-like details inspire industriousness, and elegant, high quality elements add a bit of romance. Enjoy!
The collection of industrial pendant lights and stainless steel appliances give this kitchen a classically chic feel. I love the chalkboard paint on the cupboards, which allows for leaving sweet thank you notes.
An industrial kitchen is fitting in a spacious loft. The exposed brick wall provides a beautiful texture against the polished black floors and stainless steel counters. This would be an impressive kitchen in which to prepare a meal for a dinner party.
This kitchen is large enough for two islands. The distressed metal cabinets add a rustic, industrial feel in contrast to the fresh flowers. The unique
pendant lights are eye-catching.
I love the light yellow wall color and royal blue refrigerator in this kitchen. The brilliant colors give the room a subtle country feel. The cork flooring is a wonderful accent.
Pristine polished metal and crisp white glass and tile are a beautiful, elegant combination. The vintage industrial tractor stools are a clever way to provide bar seating.
The chalkboard wall, industrial sliding door and white sculptures make this room feel like it could be an artist's studio rather than a kitchen. The pale green is a soothing color, and I love the unassuming
ceiling light in the pantry.
The contrast between light and dark in this kitchen is a sure fire way to create an elegant, dramatic environment. The open shelves and different colored glassware give the room a rustic bohemian feel, as does the weathered factory window.
I love the mix of antique bottles and aged metal dishware in this kitchen. Again, open shelves are an excellent way to display interesting and functional accessories. The over-sized sand timer adds a bit of whimsy.†Images
