Flowers & Food

{Roses from my hubby...the colors make me happy}

On Valentine's Day I was asking for dinner ideas
so I wanted to share what we decided to make:

I'll have to check out those recipes!! You know I'm a fan of recipes... I'm not sure if my after the fact suggestion came through yesterday - when in doubt - a quick but yummy romantic dinner - ribeye steaks w/ sauteed mushrooms and onions, homemade creamed spinach - super easy and yum - and twiced baked potatoes - a crowd pleaser w/ my Valentime!! xo

Those recipes look great! We made a pretty last-minute decision, too. We had salmon, garlic mashed potatoes, and this crazy salad business... spinach tossed with gorgonzola crumbles & balsamic vinegar, pear slices, bacon, and topped with crunchy fried yams (shredded w/ my newest toy, a "spiralizer"). The salad was a total circus in your mouth... in a good way : )

BTW, how did you manage to find a guy who could pick out such chic colors? haha! I'm super impressed!
