DIY Earring Holder

I love to display my earrings so that they can easily be seen.
Plus they look effortless and eclectic when displayed this way.
I went to Goodwill and bought these three frames:

I wasn't sure what color to paint the frames, but I knew that I wanted them to all be the same color. Ideally I would have painted them all white and hung them against a contrasting colored wall, but we live in an apartment with white walls and I wanted some contrast and pop. The great thing about these is that I can easily re-paint them when I get tired of the color. I am always trying to create items without spending much money so I decided to paint them with some leftover gray spray paint that I used for my chalkboard frame.

I used thin wire and a staple gun to attach the
wire to the back of the frame for the earrings to hang on.

Have a great day!

  2. It was already a mirror so I decided to keep it that way :)

  3. I have the exact same thing hanging in my closet! We think alike! The only think I did differently was instead of the string I put foam core as the backing covered in ada cloth (what you use for needlepoint) that way I could push in earrings and hang them.

Can't wait to see more of your DIY creations!

  5. Awesome idea. Way better than the ball of wires and beads that used to be all my earrings:) I have some old frames sitting around, I may have to give this a go.
